De Cango is a beautiful farmhouse overlooking the Swartberg Mountains, situated about 25 km from Oudtshoorn. The house consists of a spacious sleeping area, a private bathroom with a copper freestanding bath, an open-plan living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Extra beds for children can be added on request.There is firewood provided for the braai area, and the house is serviced at a nominal fee. Solar power is used for electricity, with gas geysers.Activities in the area include hiking trails, fishing in the dams and rivers, and visiting the historical sites. The famous Cango Caves is also just a short drive away. We run a game breeding operation and can organising sightings for the guests, weather permitting.We are situated on the original farm De Kombuys, where the Cango Caves were discovered. This is an historical area and perfect for a peace and quiet away from city life yet close enough to the City.
