Derwent House

Derwent House is located between the city centre and Table Mountain and is the ideal base from which to explore all that Cape Town has to offer.

Derwent House offers guests a choice of staying in one of 10 rooms or a lovely Apartment. The air-conditioned rooms offer comfortable king-size beds and have private bathrooms. We provide cotton robes and slippers, and each room is equipped with a TV, a DVD player, Wi-Fi Internet, a safe for valuables, an iPod docking station and a desk. Some of the rooms are located upstairs and have views of the pool area. Breakfast is provided for all rooms.

The open-plan Apartment is ideal for two adults and two children under 12 years. It offers a double bed, a double sofa bed and a private bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has a lounge area that is equipped with a TV as well as a DVD player and Wi-Fi Internet access. A dedicated parking area is available and guests can make use of all Derwent House's facilities.

Guests can make use of the extensive DVD library and relax in front of the cosy fireplace in winter. Complimentary tea, coffee, cake, port and sherry are available and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Guests can relax on the sunloungers or cool down in the solar-heated pool and relax in the hot tub. Off-street parking and a full laundry service are available for convenience.

We can arrange private airport transfers, car hire and private drivers, as well as massages, facials and hairdressing appointments. We can also assist with event, restaurant and excursion bookings on request.
