The farm Klipdrif is situated on the banks of the Goukou River and offers guests comfortable accommodation in Die Plaashuis @ Klipdrif.

The farmhouse is one of the oldest houses in the district and has thick clay walls; exquisite black wood ceilings ensure lovely cool rooms in summer. The farmhouse consists of two bedrooms; the one is furnished with a double and a single bed while the other is furnished with four single beds. The rooms share a bathroom with a bath and a shower and linen and towels are provided.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove, a fridge-freezer, a microwave as well as cutlery and crockery. Tea and coffee facilities are also available and guest can enjoy their meals at the dining table. The lounge is comfortably furnished and equipped with a divan for additional sleeping space. Laundry facilities are situated behind the house for convenience. Guests can make use of the indoor braai room or make use of the braai facilities adjacent to the house. The famous Riversdale beacon, Sleeping Beauty, is clearly visible from the veranda.

Riversdale is a short drive away and here guests can play a round of golf on the beautiful golf course, go mountain biking, pay a visit to the 'Ou Tronk' which offers arts and crafts stalls as well as local delicacies or visit Long Street and walk in the footsteps of C.J. Langenhoven.

Tranquility and peacefulness by

We had a lovely stay. It was so peaceful and quiet. The only problem was the directions to the house. It is gravel road and the directions are not 100% correct. Google maps also unable to help as it says ?road unknown'.
