Dona Soraya Lodge is situated on South Beach of Vilanculos, overlooking the spectacular Indian Ocean and out to the Bazaruto Island on the horizon.

This peaceful lodge is hosted by Dona Soraya who offers international and seafood cuisine; paella is a favourite dish and in ample supply at the restaurant. Take a short walk down the wooden stairway to the white sands of the beach. Its coconut trees and tranquil waters make it ideal for children to swim safely and the young at heart to enjoy water sports.

The spacious accommodation offers double-bed suites, family suites, and the Reed House which is a self-catering unit. Each morning guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast served in the restaurant.

If you arrive by air, Dona Soraya will collect you from the airport and take you back at the end of your visit. We will happily take you into town if you would like to explore the vibrant city of Vilanculos.

Dona Soraya Lodge is Swiss-Spanish owned and a variety of other languages are spoken; these include English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Afrikaans.

Wonderful people, very much welcoming. If you are looking for a quiet and resting place this is the right place. Good food, affordable price and clean rooms. Beautiful view and amazing beaches.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at the lodge. The owners are very welcoming. We were happily surprised by the upgrade (from the self-catering house to the suites), the flexibility and nice food. Beautiful beach in front with good views from the suites.
