This loving restored guesthouse, built a century ago, received a merit award from the Heritage Potchefstroom Foundation in 2007. Its central location, close to the North West University, the Built shopping centre main Aardklop terrain and the hockey astro-fields make it the ideal accommodation for families, Unisa students, post graduates, researchers and culture vultures attending the Aardklop Arts Festival.

The six spacious rooms are stylishly furnished with en-suite bathrooms, wireless Internet connections and private entrances. Parking is safe, barbeque facilities with a pool table for own entertainment. The six rooms have double beds with en-suite bathrooms, bar fridge and DSTV. Facilities include a coffee maker in room, desk and dry cleaning and laundry. Family rooms are available. Wheel chair accessible.

Great stay by

My gran and I stayed at d'Oude Molen Guesthouse from the 1st to the 3rd of October during this year's Aardklop fest. It was a truly lovely stay, the rooms where neat and tidy and what I personally loved the most was the fact that you where given a key and remote and could come and go as you pleased without disturbing anybody. It truly felt as if you were staying in your own house just going out for the day. The added bonus is the fact that it was situated so close to the main Aardklop festval, literally walking distance which meant that I could leave my car at the guest house where it was safe and secure. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone and would definitely stay there again myself in the future.

What excellent service? The owner always ensured that I was comfortable and went that extra mile. The dogs were such a treat as they kept me company when I missed my own dog back home. Will definitely coming back.
