East Lodge is set in a peaceful residential area, and offers bed and breakfast accommodation close the airport and the main roads heading into Johannesburg city. There are 18 lovely rooms available at the lodge, ideal for families, couples and business travellers.

Each of the rooms include satellite TVs, en-suite bathrooms. The room is serviced daily and a laundry service is available on request. Breakfast is served daily in the dining room. Additional meals are available to long term guests.

The lodge offers guest a cosy lounge area, a peaceful garden to explore, and a lapa area with a swimming pool. The Portuguese Restaurant on site, offers meals prepared in the kitchen and on an open flame. The restaurant also has a large screen TV in the dining room.

Gate didn't work sat outside for 40 minutes at 830pm
Cold showers
Dirty bed linen
Bed collapsed
No bedside lamp

Unsatisfactory experience from start to finish by

I've had to give it one star in order to submit this review. I would prefer NOT to give it any stars.

We wasted our money on this place.
It was clean and that's about the only positive I can give. I wrote at length to the owner two weeks ago but no response. I did warn her that my review would not be good. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
Just two of our many gripes ...
- Despite fixing arrival time, no-one there to receive us. Took half an hour of phone calls and waiting, It went downhill from there.
- Owner served us breakfast in her gown, pyjamas and slippers!

Enough said!
