Elephant's Nest is elegantly designed, African themed guest lodge with intimate atmosphere and ample personal attention. All with views over a sprawling garden, mountains and verandahs. Main area with veranda, wooden deck and undercover barbeque, dining room with wood burning iron stove, comfortable lounge with fireplace, TV, music system and library. Mahogany and antique furniture, information booth, credit card facilities, dinner and picnic baskets on request mainly a set menu, dinner, light meals and drinks served throughout the day and secure undercover parking available.

Mountain biking trails, half hour to five hours hiking trail through natural forests and mountain terrain. Fanie Botha hiking trail 79 km, 5 days. We can do the drop offs. Also in the region is horse riding and trout fishing. We do fully inclusive, escorted tours to all the sights as well as the Moholoholo private game reserve.

Ons het 'n heerlike aand daar deurgebring en is die volgende oggend na 'n lekker ontbyt behaaglik daar weg.

Very nice by

Unfortunately we spent only one night in Elephant's Nest and it was a really cosy atmosphere. Dinkie is a very nice and friendly woman,who also serve a healthy and large breakfast! We really enjoyed our one-night-stay!



We felt lucky having chosen Elephant's nest as the center of activity for our four day visit to the area, We enjoyed our stay in the comfortable environment as well as the friendly advice and attitude of our charming hostess.

Greal Experience by

The accommodation was more than adequate for us, Perfect position for exploring the Panorama Route. The hosts were attentive without being intrusive.
