We arrived at Empangeni -Inn travelling as two ladies and we were shocked at the reception we received. The place was filled with men who were doing construction work and the owner was not present to greet us. we were greeted by a rude young lady who looked us up and down and asked if we had paid for the accommodation which I found to be extremely offensive as we would not have travelled so far not having secured the accommodation by paying a deposit. I was then put on the phone with Bheki who also had no concept of how guests should be treated as what was in his mind was payment! The guest house is nothing like what is advertised, as we were shown to our room which was boiling hot and had no air-condition, we checked the state of cleanliness and it came as no shock to us to find dust everywhere even in the bathroom! By this time I was on my phone on the internet looking for alternative accommodation as there was no way I was going to sleep in such a place!! We were lucky enough to find another accommodation for the night. This guesthouse should not be listed as a place ready for business and should be removed from the internet altogether! I would rate it zero if there was an option available to us. I was extremely angry, disappointed and disgusted with the place and it's people and no paying customer should be subjected to such!
