Felicita DimoraStanford, Western Cape, South Africa Zelf-Zichricht | (POA) |
This Tuscan styled six-suites home with breath-taking views of the Kleinrivier mountains dominates the top of a Stanford Valley hillside, north facing, surrounded by a pristine fynbos reserve, with indigenous flora unique to the Overberg region.
You will get the feeling that you are a hundred miles away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, yet only 15 minutes drive from the historical village of Stanford with biking and walking trails, wine farms, a cheese factory, regular farmer's markets, breweries, gin distilleries, fine restaurants and beaches that stretch for kilometres. Felicita is also a mere 30 minutes to Hermanus, the whale watching capital of South Africa which offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, entertainment and activities.
We pride ourselves for being free of alien flora species which is an ongoing problem in the region. Felicita has a low carbon footprint and is a self-sustaining eco-friendly operation which is off the national electricity grid, therefore un-phased by load shedding as all the facilities at Felicita are 100% powered by solar and gas. The water supply is sourced directly from a natural spring which cascades into the local stream and is processed with a chemical-free filtration system. All our guests are respectful of our preservation endeavours on Felicita.
