The lodge is situated a mere 200 meters from the main swimming beaches. Flamingo Lodge is situated 30 minutes North of Durban International Airport and only a 10 minute drive to Durban city centre, two minutes walk to main protected bathing beach and within walking distance to all pubs, restaurants, shopping centres and the vibrant night life. For the sporting enthusiast we are a stone's throw away from the Umhlanga Country Club which offers tennis and bowls facilities.
The ski-boat club has deep-sea fishing trips available on request and scuba diving facilities are close by, or simply just relax and laze at the swimming pool. We do accept children of all ages.
