FLORA BAY TOEVLUCHT OORD RECENSIES (67 %) Enjoyable by Veronique Colaone, France 19 October 2011 Very beautiful view. The apartment is clean and we recommend it. Spectacular setting by Reza Ebrahim, South Africa 28 November 2011 Spectacular setting, great views, the sound of the sea close by. The accommodation is practical yet comfortable. Only downside really in the six-sleeper is only one bathroom to share, and of course the wind. Views by Lynn Gibbons 25 July 2017 Views and setting lovely...a balcony would have been an added bonus Unforgettable Hout Bay by Suzette Klopper 28 December 2017 Rooms were clean and everything in working order. However, when we booked we were assured that a 4-sleeper room was available for the entire duration of our stay. For some obscure reason only known to the management if the resort, we had to move to another room (exactly the same) next door for the last night. We did have accommodation for all 5 nights, but having to pack up and move for one night was very inconvenient. It also interrupted our day's activities because we had to check out of the first room by 10am and then had to check into the new room after 2pm. We were not able to do the switch in one process. The staff were not very helpful to make the inconvenience any easier.
Although we were due to arrive on the 23rd, I also received a call from Simone on the 21st, asking at what time we would check in. Only when I pointed out that we would only arrive 2 days later, did she realise we were not yet due. All prior communication with the resort, including confirmation of our booking, was with Simone herself.
All this said, this was the second time we stayed at Flora Bay and will stay there again in the future. We trust that our next experience will be as good as the first time we stayed there. Stunning Views by Graeme Solomon 04 May 2018 The views were stunning and the accommodation was excellent. Friendly staff and personnel. Already looking to make another booking. Would have been nice to have the tv remote in the room and not find out that it was kept at the reception. Need lights at night to light up pathway from parking to units.
