The rooms are comfortably furnished and spacious. Equipped with large beds, DStv and comfortable seating, the units offer a welcome respite from the stresses of modern day life. The property offers a heated swimming pool and lapa area, as well as an African themed cocktail bar.

Special attention was given to the interior decorating and design of the lodge. Persian carpets, leather couches and many more features have been added to create a one-of-a-kind style. The property offers an oasis of trees and shading, as well as ample parking.

Loved it!



We had requested an early book in as we were attending a wedding at Rosemary Hill. We arrived at 12:15 and our room was ready.  The staff were really competent and friendly.  Our breakfast the next morning was a real surprise! A cheerful seating arrangements in the kitchen with the other guests (well we were 6 at the table, not sure if all the guests were there). Breakfast was outstanding and the coffee was excellent. I neglected to ask the staff their names, which is a real pity.  This little guest house is a real gem and perfectly appointed for the out-of-the way weddings which always seem to be in the SilverLakes area. The name and phone number has been saved for further getaways.

Just a short note: We had decided to have a small nibble for lunch and were directed to Mo-zam-bic, what a wonderful restaurant. The food was wonderful with really ice-cold beer. When we have more time, we shall explore the restaurant's menu more thoroughly. I highly recommend the spinach and feta rissoles and the chocolate rissoles. Yum.

Our stay at Foundry Guest Lodge was wonderful. We were greeted by very friendly staff and our room was perfect for our needs and very clean. The breakfast which were included in the price were very tasty. I would definitely recommend Foundry Guest Lodge to any future guests that are looking for accommodation in the area.
