Fourwinds Courtyard

Fourwinds Courtyard is probably the oldest farmhouse built on the largest piece of flat land in Winterskloof. Being a mere five minutes from Hilton, this has been home of Dennis and Jill Bailey-Edkins for around 20 years.

Fourwinds Courtyard comprises two Family Units with separate entrances that comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. Guests can choose to self-cater or book breakfast. Evening meals are provided on request.

Situated at the start of the Midlands Meander, Fourwinds Courtyard is perfectly positioned for easy access to Howick, Hilton and Pietermaritzburg. We are a preferred stopover for parents with children attending Hilton College, St Annes and Cowan House. Business people also find Fourwinds to be a restful and cooler stopover the night before meetings in the city.

The property is five minutes from Hilton and 15 minutes from Pietermaritzburg, thus making it an easy venue for the Comrades Marathon, the Durban Classic, Amashovashova, the Hilton Art's Festival and the Midmar Mile. There are at least eight restaurants in Hilton, as well as two shopping centres, a DVD store and the whole Midlands Meander of curios to explore.
