Friends Wild Coast Backpackers is situated on the picturesque Bomvu River mouth, in Coffee Bay.The backpackers celebrates diversity, you can mingle with the locals around the sunken fire circle, enjoy a wood fired pizza, or indulge in a delicious home cooked meal. Stay in one of the dorm rooms, or treat yourself to en-suite accommodation. There are also campsites available in the magical fairy garden. Braai outside, or if the weather turns, at our indoor fireplace. Parking is secure, and WIFI and laundry are available services.Numerous activities will lighten your spirit when staying at the backpackers, be it yoga or a game of table tennis, darts or a board game. Over the road, friends café offers home-made meals, freshly baked breads and cakes, fresh veg juices, shakes and smoothies while enjoying an epic ocean view. Attraction in the area for the adventurous include the Hole In The Wall and the Magwa Waterfall.

FRIENDS WILD COAST JEUGHERBERG RECENSIES (80 %) Pleasantly surprised by Carla Bekker, South Africa 27 March 2016 This is the old Bomvu Backpackers, and was taken over from the previous owners last year (2015) October.
Since then great strides have been made to improve the venue.
When booking accommodation this was the last place available, and there was very little information available as it was pretty newly taken over, I was apprehensive after reading Bomvu reviews. All I can say is fear not!
The accommodation was lovely and clean and quiet, we stayed in the "Love" room, a double bed, single bed and on suite shower and toilet, and it was great. Also far enough from the bar area to be quiet at night if you want to creep in while the party is still going.
And against an earlier review, there is power in every room, I expect that has happened in the pretty extensive ongoing renovations. I think in the next couple of months this place will be amazing.
The staff is very helpful and welcoming, and checked up on us a few times during our stay.
The location of the place is also perfect, right by the beach (the camping area is right next to the river) and close to the two best restaurants in town. Also right across from Coffee Shack Backpackers if you want a change or scenery for a drink.
Overall, I loved staying here, and I would totally recommend it to anyone coming this way.

Knight time comes alive with live drumming show. A must to see.
They also bake fresh delicious pizzas in the boere style outside oven's
The people are very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location, atmosphere, value for money. I have been to Coffee Bay several times and this is definitely the best place that I have stayed in. Will most definitely be back.
