Beautiful, Cosy and homely by

Definitely value for money. The owners are kind, attentive and very welcoming. We had a lovely stay...return is guaranteed..

Gaggle/ Red Baron by

Good value for money, clean and safe. Owner very friendly and helpful. Only one irritation, the name of the "resort" have changed to Red Bishop.

Weather was good by

No dish washing facilities, no cooking facilities apart from braai or microwave. The bath taps don't Work. Shower or fill the bath using the shower. The bathroom door doesn't close as the hinge was loose. No toiletries other than 1 tiny cake of soap. TV channels really nothing to choose from. Only one pillow per person. Coffee and tea provided totally inadequate. Room was not serviced much to our surprise. I will not be going back and cannot recommend going there unless just for a nights sleep. Not cheap for what you get.

In future though, please complain while you are at the facility you paid for, all your complaints could have been resolved while you were staying with us.
We do apologize for the lack of service, that is not our standard, but afterwards our reasons will still not make you happy, If you called our attention to the problems while you were at our lodge, I could have moved you to another chalet, and attend to all you complaints, which are all true and just, even I would have complained.

If you complained while at our lodge and we were unable to resolve them, I would have gladly refunded you in full.
