Gecko Rock Private Nature Reserve is situated just outside of Touws River.
The self-catering and camping establishment comprises of one cottage and three cabins. The cottage is fully equipped, sleeps two adults and two small children on mattresses, and the cabins sleep six people and consist of kitchens, patios with furniture, ablutions and braai areas. A swimming pool is also available to guests.
The mission at Gecko Rock is to offer visitors an unparalleled outdoor experience in the South African Karoo, one of the most unique natural areas in the world. The scope of activities on offer at this special place, where the emphasis is on preservation of the environment, is sure to hold an attraction for everyone. Activities include hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking and recreational shooting.
