Grunlust Gastenhuis

Grunlust Guesthouse offers guests comfortable accommodation in the tranquil town of Odendaalsrus in the Goldfields region of the Free State.

The guest house has five luxury en-suite rooms decorated with an old-world charm and furnished with comfortable double beds. The rooms are equipped with a TV with DStv as well as tea and coffee facilities.

Meals are available on request and can be enjoyed in the farm-style kitchen, outside in the fresh morning air or in the more formally decorated dining room. Guests can relax or read in the lounge and garden, enjoying high teas served under the old thorn tree.

Various attractions and activities can be enjoyed in the area such as water sports at the Dam Park Recreation Resort, visiting the Phakisa Raceway where the annual Motor Cycle Grand Prix takes place, golfing at the Oppenheimer Park Golf Course, playing tennis or bowls, taking an underground trip to a gold mine, taking a train tour through the Goldfields or watching thousands of beautiful flamingos inhabiting the salt pan.
