Gumpost Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation situated in Pennington, a small coastal town on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

The cottage consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms of which the main is en suite, a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area. There is a large covered patio area with outdoor furniture leading to an upper wooden deck with beautiful ocean views.

The garden is enclosed and secure, with a lovely swimming pool and braai facilities. Secure off-street parking is also provided. This cottage is ideal for families or a group of friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. Cottage had everything one needed. Space, views, position.



Enjoyed our stay. Stephanie and her two friendly dogs were wonderful hosts. The cottage was very clean and neat including bathrooms, toilets and shower. Everything we needed was at our disposal. Will most definitely be visiting again. A simple yet fitting cottage for families who want to just relax and be together away from the hustle and bustle of work and school life.

Gorgeous view, close to the beach by

We had an amazing time at Gumpost Cottage, the owner is super friendly and helpful and we loved the large outdoor seating area. Sea views can be enjoyed from the wooden deck and the unit is just a short walk to the beach. Will definitely go back!

Comfortable, relaxed and well-catered by

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and Steph made sure those few small things were done, which made a big difference (like providing old towels to clean our bikes, etc).

What a Perfect Beach Holiday by

We loved our stay at Gumpost cottage. 5min walk to the beach with Lifesavers. We also walked along the beach to the main Pennington beach. What fun! Lovely swimming beaches. The cottage was perfect with your own swimming pool and lush garden. We felt very safe when walking around the neighborhood. Pennington is a fantastic holiday destination. We enjoyed Steph and her dogs. We hope to come again!
