Habibti House

Habibti House is a stunning three-storey town house with five spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Located next to Jaha House, Habibti is located a few footsteps from Shela's remarkably colourful fishermen's beach and in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and the nanny quarters on the ground floor. The first floor offers an open courtyard that is surrounded at one side by a lounging area with snug Swahili beds with lots of cushions, and the other side houses the dining area with a huge dining table made of old dhow wood. Two of the five bedrooms are located on the first floor and all bathrooms are ambitiously designed to suit European pretensions.

The second floor accommodates one spacious apartment with an elegant en-suite bathroom and a private terrace overlooking a picturesque part of Shela. An open space with Swahili beds facing the courtyard completes the delightful lounging experience. There is a second bedroom on this floor which is also decorated with plenty of style. All bedrooms are furnished with Lamu four-poster beds, mosquito nets, ceiling fans and dressing tables.

The top floor of Habibti House comes with an impressing roof terrace and a large apartment overlooking the Lamu Channel to the Manda Island mangroves. There is an antique Indian bed for outdoor sleeping and a large baraza offering lots of comfort. The sunbeds will invite you for a rest under the open sky.
