Haus Windeck by

Die verblyf was heerlik.  Haus Windeck was baie netjies en ten volle toegerus.  Obies en Doeka die eienaars was baie gasvry en vriendelik.  Kan dit enige tyd aanbeveel om te oornag.





Very run down and dissappointing

a bit of a let down by

While the owner, Doeka, was very nice and sweet, but we were a bit disappointed by this accommodation. This house has 2 sides to it and while we were there there was a lot of banging going on from early in the morning on the other side. There is no way that 12 people can sleep where we were so maybe that is only true if you rent the whole facility. Not sure. The part we were in, right side of the house in the photo, was quite run down and we gave the owner a long list of things that were not working. Couple of things that stood out were a broken glass lamp shade on the bedside table of the kids beds, almost no electricity on the meter and a general run down, hodge podge appearance of the place. To me as a Namibian, this seemed like another one of those instances where Namibians are trying to make a easy buck on tourism with minimum effort or expense. Very unlikely we would stay again.

Really enjoyed the stay here, the house comfortably accommodated our large group.

Spacious family holiday house by

I loved the charm of the old wooden floors,staircase ,doors and window frames. It is a family friendly house with plenty of space.
