Heerengracht Guest House is an upmarket, affordable guest house for both holiday makers and business executives. The guest house is situated in the exclusive suburb of Royldene in Kimberley, the capital of the Northern Cape.



The guest house offers en-suite bedrooms with DStv, air-conditioning and bar fridges. We also offer Family Units with fully equipped kitchens, lounges, patios and private entrances. Guests have access to conferencing facilities and shuttle services.

Kimberley is not only a historical town, but the Big Hole, a huge circular pit right in the middle of town, is a huge crater dug almost entirely with picks and shovels in an effort to reach diamonds in the olden days.

Room no 6 by

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned properly during our stay. Maintenance was done on the broken toilet on our request and immediately addressed. Thank you for your quick and positive response. We have run out of hot water the following morning, but was normal the day after. The general maintenance of the bathroom of room no 6 can however improve to fall in with the rest of the building standard and well maintained garden. 

Worst holiday of my life by

This place is joke of a guest house. On arrival, our pots were dirty, the floor in the room was filthy, the bath sheets were never washed properly, we always had to ask for fresh towels otherwise we'd find dirty towels in our room. On New Year's Eve, there were people, not sure if they were guests or not, but they had made such a noise the entire evening well until 2.30 in the morning, which the time that we had decided that we were not going to stay another minute longer. All of them had gone to sleep and had left the music playing the entire evening. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY NOR WILL I EVER SET FOOT THERE AGAIN. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE TO BE A THREE STAR ESTABLISHMENT AT THE RATE THAT THEY'RE GOING
