The Herb Garden is situated in the beautiful town of Colesberg and consists of nine individual units, each unique in its lay out to cater for a wide range of needs.

Our clean and stylish units each have their own private entrance and each unit has a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities as well as DStv. Some of the units are equipped with self-catering facilities. Breakfast and supper is served on request.

Guests can make use of a swimming pool and braai facilities which are set in a beautiful garden. Parking is available under roof parking behind locked gates.

The Staff and owners were very friendly. Was a very enjoyable stay!

Friendly people, we enjoyed our stay over on the way to Stellenbosch

Excellent stop-over by

We were received warmly and extra care was taken to ensure our stay with our young baby was pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and there was full dstv available to unwind . The place is secure and spacious, the perfect place to spend our afternoon. It was quiet when we needed to go to sleep early and we were able to leave in the middle of the night without a hitch. Will definitely recommend this to friends and family travelling between Gauteng and the Cape!

Stay was ok, location great easy access to highway as that was our reason for staying over. However no hairdryer, bed was very uncomfortable and we couldn't get out of the gate when we left very early, first had to call our host for the code to open the gate. I think this could have been communicated better. Overall we got what we needed

Comfortable stopover by

A very friendly and accommodating reception. Very comfortable accommodations. My only gripe was the shower which showed signs of a damp problem, without a door there is a significant leak onto the bathroom floor. I slipped on the spill and very nearly bashed the small table in the bathroom against the shower panel. I believe something must be done to rectify this, its just a matter of time before there is a serious accident.
