Accommodation worked for our group of six old men on a walking tour of the southern Free State/E. Cape/Lesotho border area although best for family groups. Self-catering facilities were sufficient and rooms serviced daily. Gardens great to relax in after the day's walk. Sarieta went out of her way to help us. Good value for money.

Vultures Rest by

Alternative accommodation provided as Highlands was fully booked. Accommodation satisfactory. Supper and Breakfast provided - both above average meals.

Highlands guest house by

We had a lovely stay. Sariet , the owner , was very accommodating. Alrhough we stayed in a non self catering unit, she allowed us to braai and provided all the cutlery etc that we needed. Beautiful setting amongst the cherry and pear trees. Hugo and Sandra Hanekom and grand children , Hermanus

Peaceful place by

Lovely big room with space for all 4 of us. Delicious evening meal.

The hospitality by

Beautifull old farm house with all the charms from yester year. Our host was a wonderful warm person and although we only stayed one night, saying goodbye the next morning felt like leaving family behind.
