Huis Windhoek

Huis Windhoek is a very special Karoo-style self-catering family house located in the picturesque town of Sutherland in the Northern Cape. Sutherland is well-known for stargazing, and visitors can also enjoy mountain biking, walking trails and also has a variety of interesting restaurants and bars to explore.

Huis Windhoek can accommodate up to 8 guests and contains 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen and dining area, and a spacious living area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and an open-plan en suite with a corner bath, a toilet and a washbasin. The second bedroom contains a double bed and has its own lounge area. The third bedroom contains a double bed and a dressing table. The fourth bedroom contains 2 single beds. The second bathroom contains a large shower, a toilet and a washbasin.

The farm-style kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and contains a fridge, stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, a washing machine, and a coal stove. There is a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The living area contains an 8-seater dining table and chairs, comfortable couches, a flat-screen TV, and a built-in indoor braai fireplace. Outside, there is a lapa with outdoor dining furniture and a braai fire pit.
