Inkosana Lodge is an upmarket backpackers in the Central Drakensberg. It has a peaceful retreat-like ambiance and is set in acres of indigenous gardens with marvelous views of the mountain. It is the Lonely Planet pick for the whole Drakensberg region.

There is a yellowwood walk, a herb garden, a swimming dam and areas to relax. Good home cooked meals are available, or there are self-catering facilities to prepare your own meals. A laundry service is provided if needed.

The area offers good shops, arts, a bakery, bird centre, canopy tour, biking, horse riding, rafting in summer, golf, adventure sports, day walks, overnight hikes, a boys choir, biking, riding and rafting.
