KaapsePracht is a modern Dutch-owned B&B located in Somerset West, just 20 minutes from Cape Town international Airport. The guest house is situated in a tranquil residential area on the foothills of the Helderberg mountain, within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and the monthly art and craft market.
KaapsePracht is the perfect base for exploring the region and offers an in-house travel consultant who will be happy to organise day trips to the Winelands, a game of golf, whale watching in Hermanus, or anything else to make your stay a pleasant one.
We offer three luxury non-smoking guest rooms, each with king-size extra-length bed and en-suite bathroom with double shower and double basin. One of the rooms also features self-catering facilities. Each room boasts a private patio overlooking the swimming pool and lush garden, flat screen TV with DStv, Internet access, tea and coffee facilities, and secure parking. Breakfast is optional and can be served in the breakfast room or on the private patio.
The Cape region around Somerset West is one of the most exceptional and varied areas in the world, enjoying a Mediterranean climate with minimum rainfall. A fresh sea breeze makes hot summer days of over 30 degrees comfortable, and even on sunny winter days the temperature rises up to over 20 degrees. Throughout the year nature shows an abundance of colour and perfection, especially from September to October when the spring flowers seem to explode in a firework of colour.
