Kamboyo Gastenhuis

Located in the Tsavo West National Park, Kamboyo Guesthouse is easily reached from the Mtito Andei gate, and stands proudly on its own grounds with magnificent views across the park.

The guest house has its own waterhole that is visited nightly by a wide range of animals, and leads to a number of driving circuits and hiking trails.

Formerly the warden's house, the guest house sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms. The spaciously furnished sitting room has a log fire and doors leading onto the veranda, where there is an outside seating area and steps leading to the upper deck.

An open-plan dining room leads off the sitting room, and the fitted kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with oven, refrigerator, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.

The Tsavo West National Park stretches from Mtito Andei, along the Mombasa-Nairobi road and down south to the Tanzanian border. Highlights include views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Chyulu Hills, visits to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, the Mzima Springs, the Shetani Lava Flow, Chaimu Crater, poachers' lookout and Roaring Rocks.
