Kicheche Mara Camp

Kicheche Mara Camp is located in the Acacia Valley in the Mara North Conservancy. It is situated in a prime wildlife area of this top quality conservancy, and game viewing starts frequently in the camp itself. Access is from the Mara North Airstrip is a 20-minute game drive.

The camp prides itself on offering a friendly and intimate stay, with our hosts treating you as welcome guests. There are only eight Tents, each comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom and flushing toilet; low wattage lighting is supplied 24 hours. All Tents overlook the Olare Orok Stream and the Western Escarpment of the valley. Triple and quad Tents are also available on request. The camp lounge has a stunning view down the valley and offers comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts.

Our cooks produce delicious and healthy meals, and the menu features both African and international dishes. Fresh produce is flown in regularly and bread and pastries are baked daily. We have a mess tent for bad weather, but prefer to take meals outside whenever possible. Guest may sit at the communal table with their hosts, or are welcome to dine alone.
