Klein Morgenster B&B is situated in Observatory, one of Johannesburg's oldest and most interesting suburbs. The suburb is named for the Union Observatory established in the early 1900s (today's Johannesburg Observatory), sited on Observatory Ridge, the city's highest point. It is a well established suburb with the Observatory Girls' Primary founded in 1918, and the Observatory Golf Course (1912), the oldest golf club in Johannesburg, still operating from its original ground. The suburb also houses the Yeshivah Gedolah of Johannesburg.
We are close to several public and private schools, including King Edward School, St John's School, Rhodean School, Sacred Heart College, and Athlone Boys' School - an ideal venue where mom and dad can stay during sport tournaments. We're also very convenient to Emirates Airline Park (previously Ellis Park Rugby) Stadium and the Johannesburg Stadium for athletics.
Hosts Theo and Ruth promise we'll do whatever we can to make your stay enjoyable and worthy of coming again to visit us!
