Mugwenzi is one of those hard to find gems where you will be charmed by the peace and tranquility this nature sanctuary offers. As an alternative to hotel accommodation, guest can enjoy the benefits of self-catering accommodation in a private home.

Our guests are accommodated in true safari style in a raised wooden cabin set amongst a vibrant and diverse array of plant and animal species. Soaring above the treetops of the Kruger Bushveld, Mugwenzi offers elevated decks and walkways which allow 360 views of the African savanna.

This spacious holiday home, with creature comforts and solitude can accommodate up to six guests and comprises of three air-conditioned bedrooms.

The main bedroom, which is situated on the third floor, opens onto a balcony with spectacular views of the park and contains a cosy queen-size bed as well as a quaint en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Both the second and third bedrooms are stylishly decorated and are equipped with plush double beds. All bedrooms open onto wooden decks overlooking the fauna and flora of Marloth Park.

The second bathroom, conveniently situated between the two guest rooms, is a shared bathroom consisting of a shower, a toilet and a basin.

The kitchen is fully equipped and furnished with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave and a breakfast counter with stools.

The living area features air-conditioners, a flat screen TV, as well as a comfy lounge suite, and opens onto the thatched, rustic and charming African entertainment deck.

The entertainment deck boasts with an outdoor dining set, ideal for rejuvenation of body and soul. The covered deck is fitted with ceiling fans ideal for the scorching Lowveld heat.

The braai area and splash pool surrounded by wildlife are ideal for those hot summer days.

A single lock- up garage and covered parking for three vehicles will put your mind at ease.

Mugwenzi is conveniently situated in Marloth Park between the Crocodile River Gate and Malelane gate, Kruger Park, Mpumalanga. A short 200m walk from the house will take you to the fence of the magical Crocodile river of the Kruger National Park.
