Kusini House

Kusini House is a Swahili-style home with traditional plaster work, wooden beams and coral block. Kusini House offers simplicity, luxury and style.

The main house has two large verandas. The ground level overlooks the pool and the top level provides you with uninterrupted views of the sea and the sunset. On the first floor you will find the beautiful master bedroom wing. Furnished with a massive four-poster wooden Lamu bed, the bedroom also has two en-suite bathrooms and two private balconies. It also contains a dining area with a huge square Moroccan-style table and is surrounded by four comfortable cushioned benches. The spacious en-suite guest room is located on the ground floor and is furnished with twin beds and has a private veranda, a library room with a TV and a massage terrace.

The entrance hall leads onto the pool veranda and the baraza area where you can relax the days and the evenings away gazing across the sparkling pool and out to sea through the Lamu door.

Two separate en-suite guest bedrooms is located at the ocean end of the walled garden and situated above the rooms is a roof terrace with swing beds to the one side and a breakfast spot to the other.

Various water sports can be enjoyed in the area and guests have the exclusive use of a private speedboat and its captain. Water sports equipment like water skis, wakeboards, tubes and snorkelling equipment can be used by guests without any extra costs. Airport transfers are also provided.
