We recommend this. We went there for a marathon race. The unit was clean and quiet. Good breakfast.

Baie netjies, vriendelik en mooi. Het heerlik gebly en sal weer daar aandoen. Very neat, friendly and beautiful. Had an enjoyable stay and will come again.

A good place as well for tourists as business man to stay while travelling from Little Caroo to Capetown..

Interesting little town ideal quiet stopover on the way to Cape Town by

Laings Lodge is in 2 buildings the historic looking house and down the road a more modern building with the self catering suites. we were in the self catering annex which was adequately equipped armchairs would have been a nice touch. Two comfortable double beds in a room, aircon and DSTV were all we needed for the night and the room was clean but not spotless. I think had not been used for a while and the room smelled musty and was a little dusty. There was a shower but for unknown reasons no hot water and late at night no answer from reception. On arrival early afternoon we enquired about an evening meal and were told no restaurant on site and all meals needed to be pre booked so we ended up with take aways from Steers. There was no wi-fi workign in the annex either.

Would I stay here again probably as are car was fully loaded and locked up parking outside the door was great. Staff were helpful. Our only suggestion would be for a 2nd arm chair in the room.
