La Playa

La Playa is a boutique B&B situated less than 100 m from the beach in Strand catering for business and leisure travellers alike. Relax after a long day at work in one of our comfortable en-suite rooms or take a walk along the beachfront to one of many nearby pubs and restaurants.

La Playa offers four en-suite rooms on a bed and breakfast basis; two with twin beds and two with double beds. There are also two self-catering units, each with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area. The one unit sleep two people with twin or double beds, and the other unit sleeps six people with twin and double beds.

The Strand offers a wide variety of activities to do and caters to all forms of travellers. For nature lovers, there is the Steenbras Dam with nature walks, canoeing, bird watching, and fishing. There are also two golf courses nearby, Erinvale and the Strand Golf Course, along with five other top quality courses in the surrounding areas. To relax, head down to Bikini Beach which is one of the best beaches in South Africa and bask in the Cape sun to your heart's content.

Strand also boasts some of the most amazing restaurants and taverns with delicious seafood dishes. All the seafood is freshly caught in and around Gordon's Bay and the locals will keep you entertained until the early morning. The famous Cape Winelands are also within close proximity, where you can visit charming wine farms and try all kinds of different wines.
