La Rochelle Guest House is centrally located in Keetmanshoop, in the beautiful south of Namibia.We offer 7 superb en-suite rooms, where guests are spoilt with views of central Keetmanshoop and the pristine Namibian landscape. All rooms are air-conditioned and have Tv. Tea-and-coffee facilities are also available in the rooms and also cudlery, microwave, bar freezer and wi fi. All the guesthouse bedding is white.

Breakfast is available at addisional cost and is not included in quotation. Breakfast is not available during Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The lovely swimming pool area has a beautiful views over Keetmanshoop. Secure parking is available and guests are within walking distance of a very nice restaurant and a superette. Various sights can be seen around Keetmanshoop and a must see is the Giants Playground where rocks are piled in such a way that it looks like giants played here. Further up the road is the Quivertree Forest, The Fish River Canyon, Ai Ais and Mount Brukaros.Enjoy personal attention and true Namibian hospitality at this beautiful guest house.

If guests want to book in later than 22:00 can do so by making arrangements with reception prior to their arrival. If it is not arranged for after hours check in you will unfortunately not be able to enter at the security gate. The room keys contain a remote for the gate. There is also a key box at the gate for the room keys when guest check out.

Lovely stay. Clean spacious bedroom and bathroom. Great food down the road at the German Club. Also enjoyed the two dogs and Tom.

The room was neat and tidy. We had a nice rest. There was ample parking and we enjoyed the pool.

Lovely place! by

Situated in a quiet sreet just a stone's throw from the centre of town, this is a great place to stay. Everthing was spotless and Annalien went to a great deal of trouble to accommodate all our needs. Excellent self catering facilities and great beds! Will definitely stay there again!!

We stayed over on our way back home to Windhoek. The beds were really hard and the room smelt of dust. It lacks a few items in the room to call it a proper self catering, the only way you could cook was to braai or microwave your food. There is also no place to wash up your dishes, the only place I could see was in the bathroom next to the toilet. The bathroom was tiny with a very small shower, my tall husband had a difficult time taking a shower. Pool area was nice, but very treacherous to get to with my toddler. It's not set up for people with small kids, the parking area had a steep downhill and a cliff with no fencing that made me nervous to let my little one to play freely. Very disappointing, never again.

Thank you for your comment.
I just want to inform you about a few things.
All our mattresses are from Bedding Warehouse in Okhandja and it is mattresses for guesthouses.
So it is good quality and hard. I cannot put mattresses that are of poor quality in my guesthouse.
This is the first time in 15 years that someone smelt dust in our room. So I cannot comment about that.
You ask for room 6 when you booked through Safari now. Room 6 is not a self-catering room.
If you see on our website, you can see that room 4 and 7 is the only self-catering rooms.
When you ask if there is not a room near your car my Supervisor took you to room 2 and showed
you the room and you told her that room 2 is fine for you. Now you have a problem about the space.
About the rest I am not going to answer you because if you have children yes you have a responsibility to look after them so I cannot move my swimming pool and area because if it is not child friendly.
