Situated in Port Elizabeth, Lavender Terrace is a lovely establishment that offers self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation. Ginny Ross, the host, makes guests feel comfortable in a quiet and secure environment overlooking the magnificent Algoa Bay.

The beautifully decorated rooms all have sea views and are equipped with comfortable beds, tea and coffee-making facilities, complimentary biscuits and a fresh fruit basket. Guests can enjoy delicious breakfasts served on the terrace, while appreciating the sights and sounds of the ocean.

The rooms have separate entrances and access to a shared kitchen for self-catering purposes. There is an open-plan living area with a dining table and a TV with DStv. Secure parking is available on the premises.

The Eastern Cape is known for its beautifully clean and unspoilt beaches, which stretch around the entire Nelson Mandela Bay. There are also a number of game farms and the Addo Elephant Park in the area.

The B&B presents what it says on the website in terms of location and view. The owners are really lovely people who made us feel welcome. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was just breathtaking. I had the best breakfast ever this weekend at this B&B. The rooms are spacious and well looked after. Ginny, makes sure that the guests feel comfortable at all times. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in a homely environment.
