Hermanus is built along the shores of Walker Bay near the southern most tip of Africa. Magnificent mountains watch over the town which is home of the Southern Right whale. Nature lovers from all over the world visit Hermanus to view whales from the best land based whale watching destination in the world. This excellent holiday home is situated close to the ocean and within walking distance to the town centre with panoramic sea and mountain views.
Up to 8 persons (6 adults) are comfortably accommodated in this four-bedroom, self-catering house that also includes a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious dining and sitting area leading onto a seafront balcony, and private barbecue. Each of the four en-suite bedrooms has a double bed and single bunk beds for kids. The house is well-equipped with satellite TV (DSTV) and DVD, and towels, linen and cutlery are provided.
The property is properly fenced and offers a safe environment for our visiting families. The caretaker of the house, occupying the second house, provides our foreign visitors with practical local information and tips to make their visit pleasant and can be instrumental in arranging transportation, and bookings.
The house is centrally located within walking distance to the centre of town and just 200 metres from an ocean tidal pool. Hermanus also offers great beaches, mountain walks, a famous craft market, as well as many fine restaurants. It is also a wine lover's paradise, with nearby vineyards offering wine tasting. For golf lovers, Hermanus offers the opportunity to play at two top golf courses.
A daily rate of R2500.00 (inclusive of VAT) applies. This fee is for the house and includes accommodation for up to six adults. A discount of up to 25% applies for bookings longer than 7 days.
In addition: a refundable breakage/key deposit of R3000 is payable prior to arrival. A R500 exit-cleaning fee also applies to all bookings.
