Lion Roars Lodge is situated just outside Kasane in the Chobe area. We have 20 beautiful chalets standing high overlooking the Lesoma Valley in the shades of a widespread vegetation. This is located just 10minutes from Kazungula, about 1hr 30minutes (80km) to the Victoria Falls and also 15minutes into the Chobe National Park and or the AirportRooms available for guests are our fully-thatched chalets standing high off the ground. Each with a double bed, hot showers, twin beds and or a family setup, toiletries, cofee/tea station, study tableGuests lodged here are lovers of nature who wants to experience the beauty and nature of Chobe in a free animal zone. We have a restaurants and bar. Activities in the vicinity include Boat cruises and Game Drives available to guests on request. The lodge is just 7 kilometres from Kazungula, Chobe area

The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. They do their best. The rooms are OK. A bit dirty but the beds are nice and clean Don't walk bare foot on the floor though ... they have painted with a terrible Greasy oil that will stick to your feet for days. The big problem is the location. It is on a small plot of land very close to a village with a Shabeen that blasts it'd music till around 2 -3am. Dogs bark all night long and when they are quiet the roosters start !!! We were a group of 13 people and not one of us got any sleep the two nights we were there. Unfortunately the village won't move so they are stuck with this. Very unfortunate.

The noise levels was extremely bad during the night. We couldn't sleep at all. We decided to leave the lodge earlier than planned because of that. The location of the lodge is very bad because of the village just next to it. I would not recommend anyone to go there.
