It is just 15min drive to the Kruger Park and therefore very convenient for Safaris. SNQA - Kelly by Johanna Campher, South Africa 19 October 2015 Our family of 11 adults stayed at Luso Country Lodge. The rooms were clean and spacious and the garden neat. Unfortunately, this is where it ends. The receptionist was not welcoming at all. Her baby was in reception and it looked like it was an effort for her to get up and help us. We noticed a very big sign on the outside wall of the lodge advertising FREE BREAKFAST FOR 2 with each room at vILLA Luso. When I enquired about this at the reception on Sunday morning, I found a highly incompetent male at reception. He didn't even bother to get up to assist me. I asked whether we should book for breakfast, and he's only reply was "it is at vILLA Luso". I went on to ask the times when breakfast is served - he's response was "8-11". When we wanted to make coffee, we found only 2 cups in the 3 sleeper rooms? We then also discovered some rooms didn't have any sugar. When we asked for sugar at reception, we were told "they are out of stock" We decided to drive to vILLA Luso for breakfast. Upon our arrival, there was nobody in sight. the front door was locked, no lights on or any indication of an operating lodge. We knocked but nobody responded. We called the cell phone number on the sign, but it was switched off. We called the land line number on the sign, but got through to reception at Luso County lodge. It felt like we stayed at a "truck stop" and I will certainly not recommend these 2 lodges to anybody who does not want to be misled by false advertising and disgusting reception services. Terrible place no star by Mpho Tshitangoni, South Africa 05 January 2016 This was the worst experience I had. Very disorganized and careless about visitors. Firstly, we were promised a free breakfast every morning signed for. On arrival at the breakfast venue on the 31 December 2015 we. We're told to pay for drinks that is tea and coffee which at the residential area a notice say that is for free after complaining I was told that wAs until Christmas the notice was removed. On the 1st of January 2016 we were very suprised when the breakfast venue was closed one plantation nothing. On the 2 January 2016 we went again and we were told that free breackfast ended on Christmas this is despite us having it on the 31 December 2015. Our rooms were not cleaned on the 1 January 2016. Hoo I have more terrible things to say about the place. Not Good by Morris Mafuyeka 01 November 2017 I booked the room prior to arriving at the venue. I find my room not prepared, infact I was not even allocated a room. The room that I was given was dirty, linen had to be changed upon arrival however the room was smelling cigarettes and chicken bones lying on the floor. LUSO COUNTRY LOGE LOCATIE
