Situated just 5 km outside of Thabazimbi, the Lyon Lodge offers comfortable accommodation in a quiet retreat. The lodge has nine en-suite rooms and is the ideal function venue.
The nine rooms are all comfortably furnished and equipped with air-conditioning and DStv. The lodge has a large deck area with a swimming pool and tables where breakfast can be enjoyed. We also prepare lunch and dinner on special request. An entertainment room with a cash bar facility and pool table is also available.
The lodge is currently busy with a breeding program for Nyala buck. Guests can also view zebra, bush buck, caracal and leopard. There is also a wide range of birds for avid birdwatchers. This includes the rare paradise bird, the southern yellow-billed hornbill, the red-billed hornbill and the African grey hornbill.
