Magoebaskloof Ruskamp lies in a beautiful fertile valley a mere 25 km from Tzaneen, a garden town only three hours from Johannesburg and one hour from the Kruger National Park. The site offers comfortable accommodation in a variety of self-catering rondavels, as well as a guest house, bed and breakfast accommodation and camping facilities.

Comfortable, fully equipped family rondavels create an attractive yet private village atmosphere. Also available are double and single overnight rondavels at a bed and breakfast rate. All the rondavels are serviced daily.

Facilities available for entertainment include a cafeteria, a restaurant and our Misty Peaks Pub and Grill. For the more energetic we have a volley ball court and a putt-putt course. Hiking trails can be arranged for those who wish to see more of the region. Enjoy a dip in our sparkling swimming pool and the toddler's splash pool provide peace of mind for families.

Further afield from Magoebaskloof Ruskamp one can explore and enjoy the many amenities of the region. Enjoy a day's trip to the Kruger National Park, a visit to the Sapekoe Tea Plantations, the Debegeni Waterfalls and the Modjadji Cycad Reserve.

Overall the gardens are neglected and it needs some supervision



The accommodation was neat and clean. The pool was inviting. Security was visible. Definitely a good place for an overnight stop en route to Kruger Park.

Beautiful setting by

The venue is primarily a self catering establishment, so don't expect great service from the bar or restaurant. Otherwise a great venue in fantastic surrounds with plenty to do. The chalets are clean, well maintained and equipped. A great get away venue.

Helpful reception by

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful when we booked in. A big thank you to her for sorting out our issues. The cable to the TV in the room was broken. It was overall an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Dstv supersports channels picture was very poor especial supersports 3 and the 2nd thing the cleaning staff they were very irritating check out was 10 but they left their cleaning staff ready to clean my wife was very irritated because it was not even 9 ,that was not cool at all.
