Spend your days relaxing at our pool or step out onto the bustling streets of Franschhoek and enjoy top class cuisine and wine at one of the many restaurants and wine farms in the valley. Rent a room which includes a wonderful full country breakfast or rent the entire house on a self-catering basis.

We are just an hour away from the V&A Waterfront and a beautiful hours' drive from the coast. This spot of paradise is located perfectly. Who could ask for more.

Best guesthouse in Franschhoek in its price category without a doubt! I have stayed in various guesthouses in Franschhoek and Maison d'Ail is far superior, rooms are beatiful, great hospitality and a delicoius breakfast! We could not have asked for more. Thanks Clive!

What a great guest house!! by

We had an amazing weekend and Maison d'Ail was splendid. Everyone was really friendly and the guest house was lovely. And I must mention that was the most comfortable bed in the world.

Wonderful one night getaway by

A friendly welcome, light and airy bedroom with incredible views and a delicious breakfast made this the perfect place for a one night get away.

The facilities in the room and remainder of the house were wonderful and a lovely mix of modern and homely. We certainly want to return in winter experience the large fireplace at work and play board games in the upstairs sitting room.
