Malan's Rust offers two cozy cottages on the owner's property, but guests have access to private facilities and also their own entrance. The units have room for a total of four guests.

The Yellow Daisy sleeps two guests and has one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bathroom with a shower, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, stove and an oven. The unit does not have a TV but does have Wi-Fi. There is free coffee, tea, sugar, home-baked biscuits and milk. Outside is a lovely fire pit with grill, wood, fire lighters and matches.

The Blue Door also sleeps two guests. There is one bedroom which has a double bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, and a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, stove and an oven. The unit does not have a TV but does have Wi-Fi. Total area of ??the unit is approximately 20 square meters in area. There is free coffee, tea, sugar, home-baked biscuits and milk. Outside is a lovely fire pit with grill, wood, fire lighters and matches.

Activities in the area include stargazing, visit to the unique NG Church, guided walking route through town.
