My mom did not want to leave as she enjoyed everything about the location and accommodation. October 2017 5 Nights Stay by Dalcon Reid 24 October 2017 Mallorca No. 8 is the perfect place to stay when you are looking for a calm, tranquil environment and enjoy having a living space instead of just four walls in a hotel room. The apartment was very clean on our arrival. The Kitchen was very practically laid out and had sufficient utensils, cutlery and crockery, of which all were clean and ready to use. Bedding and bathrooms were also very clean. Mallorca consisted of secure parking for our vehicle, with its own marked bay for the unit, conveniently located close to the stairway leading down to the front door of the unit (which makes carrying luggage down to the unit significantly easier). Right next to it was also a ramp which is very useful for those who may find the stairs a bit challenging. The unit is located at the perfect spot in Mallorca. From the kitchen/lounge and the main bedroom you have clear views of the ocean. From the second bedroom you have a lovely garden view. Mallorca consists of ample security by day with a pad-lock gate leading to the road and beach, and a remote controlled gate at the back entrance where the parking bays are. By night a security officer patrols the entire premises each and every hour. Overall the area is very safe. Patrol vehicles and security officers with guard dogs patrol the area constantly. You see lots of people taking a jog and others walking their dogs on the beach. We took regular walks early morning and again late in the evenings (as late as 10h00pm) and not once did we feel unsafe. Mallorca residents definitely take into consideration their neighbours, so there are no worries about loud music or partying late at night. The décor style of the apartment is modern and tastefully done. The pictures are definitely an accurate portrayal of the unit. Umdloti is in close proximity (about 10 to 15 minutes' drive) to Umhlanga as well as Ballito, so for the shopping enthusiast very good news indeed. A Spar, Restaurant, Liquor Store, Surf Shop and Laundromat are walking distance from Mallorca and not even 5 minutes' drive. I would most certainly recommend Mallorca 8. Umdloti Letting and Sales received us with utmost professionality and made our stay pleasurable. MALLORCA 8 LOCATIE
