Situated 4 km from Thabazimbi, on the Marakele National Park Road, Marula Cottage Guest Lodge is a lovely thatched farm house with beautiful views of the Waterberg Mountains. Within easy reach of both the town and visitor attractions such as Marakele National Park, Pretator Centre and a golf course, Marula Cottage is ideal for business clients as well as people looking for a peaceful break in the African bush.

Eco-based, FGASA-guided tours to nearby Marakele National Park, Pilanesberg and other local attractions are also offered. We are a small family run guest lodge who pride ourselves in our attention to comfort, detail and hospitality. All our rooms offer views to the mountains and our bird-filled garden. Marula Cottage offers three new guest bedrooms set on the mountain, with wonderful views of The Kraansberg and Marakele Mountains to be enjoyed from the patio. Early birds can take in the spectacular sunrises through the large sliding dining room doors, there is no better way to start the day.

For the more sedate, some time spent on the patio under the Marula tree will delight with an abundance of bird life. A little time on the farm may also yield impalas, mountain reedbuck, klipspringer, kudu, jackal, and porcupine, to name but a few.
