MATLAPA LOGE RECENSIES (70 %) Matlapa Lodge by Caroline Capitao, South Africa 13 July 2011 Very quiet. Just what you need to get away from the everyday stresses. Unfortunately on the web it states that it is a four star lodge, yet it is only a three star. Very dissapointed in that they don't cater for dinner, as the restaurants in town are all takeaways. Otherwise, the people very helpful and kind. Will not be going back there. A home away from home by Bontle Senne, South Africa 09 August 2011 A very homely, warm environment is created at this great B&B. We stayed in the Honeymoon Chalet and loved the total privacy and earthy feel of the place. The views at breakfast were really beautiful and the welcoming nature of Matlapa's owners, Rika and Gustav, meant that this is one place we will definitely visit again. It's nothing like the pictures by Connie Nkuna 07 May 2017 When we got there, it looked like we lost. The garden is not maintained. The reception was okay. The outside showers had spiderweb, the bed is too old n not comfortable. We could go for breakfast cos there were dogs everywhere n they kept barking at us n we scared of dogs. We only stayed one night but we booked for 2. Safari must also do an update on this places m check if they are still up to standard instead of making us book places that are not up to standard cos they don't check. I booked through safari cos I believed they made sure the places are what they are on the pics Baie tevrede by Sandy Joubert 16 October 2017 Ons het die bespreeking op baie kort kennisgewing gedoen, maar was baie vriendelik ontvang, kamers is baie skoon en die buite lug stort is n belewenis. Matlapa het n pragtige tuin met groot swenbad ek het die naweek daar regtig geniet dt was baue rustig en stil. al at kort is so bietjie van n wandel padjie. daar is nie veel om te doen as mens net by die loge tuisgaan en nie van plan is om rond te ry nie. maar afgesien daarvan sal ek Matlapa vir enige iemand aanbeveel. ek het gegaan omdat ek rustigheid nodig gehad het en ds presies wat ek gekry het. baie dankie aan die annie en die oom daar, hulle is baie vriendelike mense en laat mens regtig welkom voel ek sal verseker weer daar tuisgaan. Weekend Getaway by Maryna De Kocks 30 April 2018 Lovely little cottages just out of Magaliesberg town... Rika and Gustav were welcoming as well as all the staff...
