Matt's Rest B&B opened its doors in "2012" and is owned and run by Grant and Rita Urquhart, You can look forward to a Warm Welcome & Superb Hospitality, Which will make your stay with us comfortable and memorable.Matt's Rest has attracted and hosted many business and leisure guests from South Africa and aboard.A 3 Star rated establishment accommodating up to 30 guests choosing from bed and breakfast or Self Catering apartments, all with their own private entrances and Ample off road secure parking is available. All of our rooms are equipped with air-conditioners, heaters, Tea & Coffee making facilities Bar Fridges, DSTV hotel Boutique & Microwave on Request, providing the perfect balance between corporate and leisure accommodation .Each suites has its own character and to find out which room will suit you best feel free to browse through our webpage or get in touch with our Accommodation Manager. We are ideally centrally situated, with close access to the N3 Mkondeni Industrial area, with all its Industrial parks.Indoor Action Sports Arena. Our location is ideal for business travellers, leisure and sports enthusiasts for both short and long terms stays.You are assured to wake up to the sounds of Birds and the Waterfall in the morning ,Enjoy a scrumptious Early Bird breakfast from 07.000 till 09.00 am in our Spacious Deck overlooking the Pool .We trust you will make this B&B your regular Stop over...Our establishment is child friendly but unfortunately not pet friendly.All Major credit card are accepted.

Check in is available from 2.00pm to 6.00pm (14:00 to 18:00) on the day of arrival. Check-in times outside of those specified must be confirmed with us prior to arrival. Please notify the bed and breakfast of any late arrivals after 5 pm or your booking will be waivered.
We ask that you please vacate your room by 10.00am (10:00) on the morning of departure.

We had a lovely time at Matt's Rest B&B. The hosts were very kind to us, the room itself was stunning and just what we needed after a long drive! Breakfast was delicious and the price charged was worth it. We do recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the city of Pietermaritzburg and need a place to relax and stay!
