Meilland Haus

Accommodation is offered in a self-catering cottage and comprises one bedroom (air-conditioned) with a king-size extra-length bed, en-suite bathroom with a selection of body washes, including shampoo/conditioner and towel warmer, bathrobes and slippers.

The open-plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen, including a Nespresso Coffee Machine, and lounge (ceiling fan) equipped with full DStv Now and Netflix, free Wi-Fi and a fireplace. The lounge leads out onto a stoep with undercover braai area overlooking a charming garden.

On arrival, you will find a welcome sherry; coffee & tea box with Ceylon and Rooibos tea, instant coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, ground coffee and Nespresso coffee capsules; the fridge/freezer stocked with fresh milk and ice; decadent homemade rusks and a bag of braai wood. Breakfast baskets, braai packs and picnic baskets are available on request.

There is secure off-street parking. The cottage is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, galleries and the Saturday market. There are various deli's, butchery, liquor stores and the convenience of a SPAR supermarket that stocks all that you will need for the duration of your stay.

Meilland Haus is situated in the heart of Prince Albert, one of the most picturesque villages in South Africa. Prince Albert is located at the foot of the Swartberg mountains in the Karoo and offers something for everybody, from olive and cheese tastings to stargazing, hiking, mountain bike trails, 4 x 4 routes, guided walks, yoga classes, cooking lessons at a local cookery school, live performances at The Showroom, farmer's market on Saturday mornings and exploring historical sites.
