The Minen Hotel is situated on the route to the Etosha National Park Game Reserve in Namibia and it is surrounded by its own acre of gardens and semi-tropical trees.

The 3 star hotel has 50 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioners, telephones and TVs. We offer Standard Rooms which are on the garden side and Luxury Rooms which are on the swimming pool side. The hotel also has an attractive beer garden under the trees, a children playground, a bar and an à la carte restaurant which offers German and Austrian cooking.Cater for conference /weddings up to fifty people.

Comfortable and value for money.

A wonderful surprise! by

Minen Hotel was a 'forced' stopover for us before taking up our booking in Etosha. What an unexpected delight it proved to be - a highlight in our month long trip! A luxurious room next to the pooled courtyard awaited us. We dined al fresco on pizzas and fresh fish of excellent standard. All staff were of the highest standard too. Hotel Minen proved to be an oasis for us, in a place of unexpected beauty. Well done to Staff and Management! We'll definitely be back for longer.

Night in between 2 longs days of travel by

This was a delightful evening which gave us relief in between 2 long days of travel between the Caprivi Strip and Etosha. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Clean linen, decent shower and a cold G&T. The kids loved swimming in the pool, and watching the geese and playing in the beautiful gardens. The staff were friendly, helpful and cheery. My kids have asked to go back :-) Thank you (it does lack some of the old Namibian charm, but that didn't really bother us) WiFi only at reception

I recently stayed a week at the Minen Hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. The owners were super nice and so was the staff. I especially liked room service - the food was hot and delicious. I definitely would stay here again.
