Located off the beaten path in historic Pangani on the northern Tanzanian coast, Mkoma Bay Tented Lodge is a blissful mix of luxurious beach and bush sitting atop a cliff overlooking a quiet, romantic beach. A truly romantic venue for weddings and honeymoons, we also offer excellent facilities to host small workshops and retreats in a quiet, natural environment. The owners, Lisa and Ulrik Lind and their staff will welcome guests in English, Danish, German, French, Spanish, and Kiswahili.

Chefs prepare Swahili-inspired dishes for dining in the main dining room and also poolside using our new wood oven and grill. Special dietary arrangements can be made. Features include a main bar and a poolside bar, a lounge and sitting area with ocean views, a library, laundry service, communal satellite TV room, a safe for valuables, Internet facilities, and a curio shop which features crafts from local Tanga region artisans. We also offer an airport shuttle service as well as guided trips to many places of interest.
