Molapo Safari

Molapo Safari Lodge is located on the northeastern border of the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, one of the 400 biosphere reserves registered with UNESCO and is located on a private 1750 hectare game reserve in a malaria-free safari area in Limpopo. The lodge is about a four hour drive from the O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. The lodge offers a relaxed and invigorating atmosphere in the middle of the Waterberg's beauty.

The lodge is for the exclusive use of one group of up to 12 guests at a time. Guests can enjoy gourmet meals prepared by the resident chef at this exclusive retreat.

Accommodation is available in six luxury rooms in a leafy garden. There are two suites in the main house and four detached chalets which are all beautifully decorated. Each room has air-conditioning, a double bed or a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, basin and a range of luxury toiletries, a hairdryer and towels. One of the suites also has a bath and one of the suites has a safe against the wall.

The main lodge has two seating areas, a dining area and a kitchen and bar area. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering. The TV lounge area has air conditioning and a fireplace. The dining area has a dining table with seating for eight guests. The reading corner is ideal for quiet afternoons and has a bar fridge that is full of stock. There is also a TV with satellite channels, DVDs and a collection of games available. Outside is a patio with seating and a dining table with chairs and a view of the boma fireplace so guests can enjoy their meals outside as well. Guests can frolic in the heated outdoor pool and it has a wooden deck all around and sun loungers overlooking the waterhole.

The lodge offers a relaxed atmosphere that provides the ideal space for families, friends and colleagues to hang out in the woods together.
